Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley plans to suspend her campaign for President after months of defiance and insistence of staying in the race.

Haley ran the longest campaign of any of her 2024 rivals such as Ron DeSantis, and Mike Pence. She ran on a campaign of winning as many independent and moderate voters as possible, however it ultimately fell short of winning the nomination.
Haley was delivered a big blow in her home state of South Carolina and Super Tuesday states, despite promising to win them by a bigger margin than she did in New Hampshire. She began to taper down expectations closer to the end of her campaign. “The ball’s in his court,” a close aide reportedly said, referring to Trump’s dominant control of the party.
Haley does not plan to endorse former President Donald Trump, but will encourage him to win back her voters. With Haley out of the way, former President Donald Trump is now the official presumptive nominee for the 2024 nomination, and has kicked off the 2024 general election.
